A Rushen MHK caught up in a bullying row says she felt ‘isolated’ from her Tynwald colleagues during an investigation which found her former boss did behave inappropriately.

Michelle Haywood has told the court she was a ‘target’ of allegations made by Onchan MHK Rob Callister and was accused of ‘having behavioural problems’:

The former health minister has been ordered to apologise to the court after the Tynwald Standards and Members’ Interests Committee found he did breach standards of conduct.

Addressing her colleagues today Dr Haywood said the distraction of dealing with the unfounded allegations was ‘enormous’:

However, the Education Minister Julie Edge told the court she feels the evidence is based on ‘hearsay’ and Mr Callister has been ‘let down’:
